About Us

Gamma Phi Beta

2024 Executive Council

About Us

President | Abbie Orndoff

Hometown: Mercer Island, Washington

Major: Accounting and Finance

Why Gphi: Moving to Texas, starting college, and enrolling in formal recruitment I had no idea what life would look like within the next couple of months let alone the next several years. The women of Gamma Phi always stood out to me for the genuine authentic connections they shared. It was not until preference round that I realized I never wanted to leave that environment, that’s when I knew there was no other home for me. The environment of support, friendship, and love that I first witnessed two years ago and that I now get to see within our sisterhood every single day is something I never knew I needed but now I cannot imagine life without. While I still might not know what the next several years may hold I do know that the people in this house will be there along the way.

Membership Vice President | Ruby Morgan

Hometown: Orange County, California

Major: Marketing and Management

Why Gphi: My deep-rooted love for our sisterhood stems from the great sense of belonging and purpose it offers. Choosing Gamma Phi Beta wasn't just about joining a sorority; it was about joining a sisterhood that values authenticity, empowers women, and fosters personal growth. Every member is celebrated for her unique strengths and contributions, and I feel that within every friendship I have formed as a Gamma Phi. Through my role, I have the privilege of guiding new members on their journey to discovering the same enriching experiences that have made Gamma Phi Beta a cornerstone of my college experience. From the bonds of sisterhood to the opportunities for leadership and service, Gamma Phi Beta continues to inspire and uplift me, shaping me into a better leader and person every day.

Education Vice President | Sophia Mankus

Hometown: Denver, Colorado

Major: Psychology with a General Business minor

Why GPhi: I feel so lucky to be a part of a chapter that fosters my wants and needs and provides me with an incredible support system of girls. Being able to step into leadership this year has filled me with so much joy and it is a huge privilege to be an executive officer. Gamma Phi Beta has given me my absolute best friends and I could not imagine my life without the girls that I am surrounded by daily. I cannot possibly keep track of the awesome moments and memories I have that involve this sorority and I seriously owe so much of my joy to GPhi. I am so excited to see where 2024 takes us and look forward to having more sweet times with my sisters!

Public Relations Vice President | Julia Gabriel

Hometown: Chicago, Illinois

Major: Fashion Merchandising

Why Gphi: Being in Gamma Phi Beta has changed my life. As soon as I walked into the pink doors, I knew I found my forever home. I am amazed by the kindness and loyalty I have seen within this sisterhood and I am constantly inspired by the young women around me. The friendships I have made within this sorority are the most genuine and loving. Having the opportunity to be on the executive council this year has only made my connection to Gamma Phi stronger. I am so grateful to lead this chapter along with six of my sisters and give back to the organization that has given so much to me.

Financial Vice President | Kate Dolan

Hometown: Denver, Colorado

Major: Marketing and Management

Why Gphi:  My profound affection for our sisterhood is rooted in the strong sense of connection and purpose it provides. Opting for Gamma Phi Beta went beyond merely joining a sorority; it was about becoming part of a sisterhood that cherishes authenticity, empowers women, and nurtures personal development. Gamma Phi Beta celebrates each member for their unique strengths and contributions, and I've experienced this in every friendship I've cultivated within the sisterhood. In my capacity as the Financial Vice President, I am privileged to contribute in a significant financial role, educating and guiding members. From the bonds of sisterhood to the leadership and service opportunities, Gamma Phi Beta continually motivates and elevates me, molding me into a more adept leader and a better individual each passing day.

Administrative Vice President | Ellie Kone

Hometown: San Jose, California

Major: Finance and Management

Why Gphi: The second I stepped foot in that Gamma Phi Beta house during recruitment, it just felt right - like I finally found my people. The good vibes and genuine smiles from the sisters instantly put me at ease. I didn't have to be anyone but my true self around them, which is honestly pretty rare to find in college. We just clicked. With every conversation, it became so obvious that these were the kind of down-to-earth, caring, fun-loving girls I wanted to surround myself with. Gamma Phi is so much more than just a sorority to me - it's a home away from home filled with bright, supportive women who bring out the best in me. My sisters keep me grounded but also push me to grow in the best way possible. We've formed an inseparable bond and made so many amazing memories already that I know these friendships will last forever. Choosing Gamma Phi Beta was one of the easiest and best decisions I've ever made.

Panhellenic Vice President | Annalise Leavey

Hometown: Dana Point, California

Major: Graphic Design with a French Minor

Why Gphi: From the moment I walked through GPhi’s doors during recruitment, I instantly felt comfortable while talking to the girls. Being in a whole new state without knowing many people was so intimidating! I was missing home and searching for a sisterhood that I could belong to. The girls in GPhi were so genuine and open that I instantly felt connected with them and knew it was the place for me. I never felt as though I couldn’t be myself when I was with these girls, and I know the friendships I’ve made here will last a lifetime. This sorority has instilled so much confidence, resilience, and kindness into my life, and without it, I would have never been inspired to take on a leadership role. I’m so proud to be part of such a strong and devoted sisterhood, and can’t wait to see where GPhi takes me.
