About Us

Gamma Phi Beta

2023 Executive Council

About Us

President | Kate McGrory

Hometown: Los Angeles, California

Major: Marketing and Fashion Merchandising

Why Gphi: The women in Gamma Phi Beta embody every core value I stive to uphold. From their resiliency to the intentionality of their actions, the women of Gamma Phi have opened their arms to me and showed me what real sisterhood can look like. Through Gamma Phi Beta, I have met my best friends who I am certain will stay by my side for the rest of my life. No matter where you are, how you are feeling, or what you are doing, a Gamma Phi will always have your back and I am confident that I have almost 300 women supporting me constantly. I knew from the moment I was given my bid that this chapter would change my life. And now as I lead these genuine women as President, I can see the true impact each and every one has on making me a better, stronger, and kinder human being. Though we strongly value our uniqueness and individuality, we all share the bond of Gamma Phi, our sisterhood, and exemplify our core values of love, labor, learning, and loyalty.

Recruitment Vice President | Annalise Gadbois

Hometown: Los Gatos, California

Major: Computer Science

Why Gphi: Choosing Gamma Phi was one of the best decisions I have made for my college experience.  While going through recruitment every conversation I had made me feel welcomed and understood. Every girl in Gamma Phi is so genuinely themselves, our diverse group of girls makes it so easy to fit in. Through Gamma Phi I have created the best friendships! Gphi has a special place in my heart due to all the memories and connections I’ve made during recruitment, sisterhood events, and even outside of our sorority events. My Gamma Phi friends, and family never fail to be there for me when I’m down, need a study buddy, or a late night nice cream run. These girls have truly made me a better version of myself, and I am so grateful to call myself a Gphi! I am extremely excited for recruitment to welcome more amazing girls to GPhi, make more memories, and best friends!

Education Vice President | Kataeya Sharp

Hometown: Los Angeles, California

Major: English

Why GPhi: Throughout recruitment week I always felt less nervous in the GPhi house. Talking with GPhis was easy and I met so many people who I knew I wanted to be friends with. I didn't feel pressure to give the "right" answers; I got to be myself around these women. Almost 2 years later, I still feel as though I can be my truest self no matter who I'm with and I try to create that environment for others as well. The people in this sorority truly inspire the highest type of womanhood and are here to support and love you no matter what.

Public Relations Vice President | Madilyn Gutowski

Hometown: San Clemente, California

Major: Entrepreneurship and Marketing

Why Gphi: As soon as I walked through the pink doors of Gphi, I had an immediate connection. I talked to the most genuine women who were passionate and clearly in love with Gphi. I wanted to find my best friends and the girls that would be by my side no matter what. Preference round was when I had the overwhelming feeling that I was in the right place. From that day on I have been surrounded by strong women that I am proud to call my sisters. Each and every day I am reminded of why I went Gphi and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Financial Vice President | Sydney Fils

Hometown: Orange County, California

Major: Finance

Why Gphi: Becoming a Gamma Phi was one of the best decisions that I ever made. During recruitment, I felt as if GPhi was already my home, and I knew I would fit right in. Everyone I talked to was so genuine and I could easily be myself. Now, this sisterhood has helped me met the most amazing women and I have created friendships that I know will last a lifetime. I know that I will always have a friend in GPhi.

Administrative Vice President | Ashton Ross

Hometown: Ardmore, Oklahoma

Major: Marketing, Arts Leadership and Entrepreneurship minor

Why Gphi: Gamma Phi Beta stole my heart the very first time I walked through the doors, and my love for this organization has only grown since. In choosing GPhi I have found myself surrounded by the most genuine and authentic women. I am inspired daily by the generosity, strength, compassion, and individuality I see throughout our sisterhood. Gamma Phi has given me the platform and opportunity to grow in unimaginable ways and ultimately become the woman I am today. Thank you, Zeta Chi, for being my home away from home!

Panhellenic Vice President | Kameryn Ragan

Hometown: Aledo, TX

Major: Supply Chain and Management

Why Gphi: The minute I walked into Gphi I felt at home. I had moved around a lot growing up, so I always felt like I was having those "basic" conversations with girls. The girls I talked to during recruitment, I had some of the best conversations with and have become some of my biggest role models. I met my best friends through and am forever grateful that I WENT GPHI!
